What is Zipi?

Zipi is a packing list app for families and anyone who packs the same things again and again. You set up who you pack for and what you usually bring. For each trip, Zipi builds the list around the dates, the weather and who’s going.

Parents packing for children of any age, couples who pack separately, families where a nanny or grandparent helps, and frequent travellers who want to stop rebuilding the same list.

A template is a copy you edit each time. Zipi remembers your usual things per person, adds only what the trip needs (coat, suncream, ski kit), and lets several people tick off the same list on their own phones.

Yes. You can share one trip with a link and choose whose things it shows. Whoever opens it can tick items off, and you see it on your phone within seconds.

Not as a rule. Zipi doesn’t assume what a child should or shouldn’t still need. At setup you choose which little-one things (such as nappies or a travel cot) each child needs, whatever their age.

Zipi is free while in beta. It works in your phone’s browser, and an iPhone app is on the way.

Your lists are stored on Zipi’s own server, not shared or sold. You can download everything and delete your account yourself in Settings.
