Disneyland Paris with kids: what to pack
A theme-park trip is mostly one thing: a long day on your feet with children. What you carry in the day bag matters more than what’s in the suitcase. This list is about both, and about keeping the bag light enough to carry all day.

Tips
- Check the park’s current rules on bag size and what you can bring in before you go.
- Agree a meeting point with older children in case you get separated, and put your phone number on a wristband or in their pocket.
- Pack the day bag the night before, and leave anything you don’t need at the hotel.
- Rain gear is cheap and light; sun cream and water matter more than any souvenir budget.
Common questions
What should I pack for Disneyland Paris with kids?
A light day bag with water, snacks, sun cream or rain ponchos, wipes, plasters and a power bank, and comfortable shoes for everyone. Keep the rest at the hotel.
What shoes should children wear to a theme park?
Their most comfortable, already worn-in trainers, plus a spare pair of socks. New shoes and long days cause blisters.
Should we take a pushchair?
For young children, usually yes. Even children who walk well tire by the afternoon.
