Tips

  • Underwear and socks are the one thing worth packing by the day.
  • Choose a few colours that go together so everything mixes.
  • A week of clothes for a child is usually less than you think. Pack for five and plan to wash.
  • Put each child’s clothes in a separate bag or cube.

Common questions

How many outfits does a child need for a week?

About five or six tops and three or four bottoms, with underwear and socks for each day plus spares. Babies and toddlers need more because of spills and nappy leaks.

How many clothes for a two-week holiday?

Not double. Pack for about a week and a half and plan to do a wash in the middle.

How can I make this a list for my family?

In Zipi you give each person their own usual things, with the number per night, and the numbers update to the length of the trip.
